May Obsessions 🎀☁️
polka dots, sakuranbo magazines, disney world, the PPP pop up and so much more...
the random little things currently making life feel like a movie
There is something about May that makes me want to romanticise literally everything. The days get longer, my Pinterest boards become way too specific, and suddenly every tiny thing feels like an obsession. So here’s the official roundup of everything currently taking over my brain, camera roll, wishlist, and personality.
Sakuranbo Magazines

If you know, you KNOW.
I have been completely obsessed with Sakuranbo magazines lately because they genuinely feel like a real-life Pinterest board turned into a magazine.
The whole vibe is basically made for girls obsessed with dreamy aesthetics, fashion, beauty, lifestyle inspo, and motivation.
It’s giving:
Pinterest-core in the best way
cool girl scrapbook energy
fashion + beauty inspiration overload
“I found this in a tiny bookstore and now it’s my personality”
I also love that it feels inspiring without trying too hard. Somehow every issue makes me want to redecorate my room, reorganise my Pinterest boards, start journaling again, and completely reinvent my wardrobe.
Honestly, magazines are having such a moment again. Digital inspiration is fun, but there’s something different about physically flipping through pages and tearing out spreads for your wall.
🩵 Brandy Melville Teal Priscilla Pants
THE pants.
I don’t even care if people say everyone owns them because yes… there’s a reason.
The teal Priscilla pants from Brandy Melville are basically my definition of effortless right now. They somehow make every outfit look put together while still feeling like pajamas.
The color is everything. Not too bright, not too muted — just the perfect cool-girl teal.
Ways I would style them:
oversized zip hoodie + slick bun + headphones
striped sweater + tote bag + iced matcha
oversized tee + ballet flats
Also, can we appreciate pants that are actually cute AND comfortable? Revolutionary.
🏰 Disney World

Yes, I am a Disney girl.
And before anyone says anything: being a Disney girl is FUN.
I genuinely love everything about Disney World — the snacks, the rides, Main Street at night, the tiny details everywhere, the smell of the hotels, the fireworks, all of it.
There is something so comforting about Disney nostalgia. It feels impossible to be in a bad mood there.
My Disney girl essentials:
collecting way too many ears
pretending I don’t cry during fireworks
obsessively planning outfits for each park
saying “one more ride” at least seventeen times
taking blurry night photos that somehow become my favorites
Also… Disney snacks deserve their own category of obsession.
⚪️ Polka Dots Everywhere

They are STILL trending and I refuse to let anyone convince me otherwise.
Polka dots somehow came back and immediately became one of my favorite patterns again because they make every outfit feel playful and more elevated.
Tiny black-and-white polka dots especially have my entire heart right now.
Things I need immediately:
polka dot hoodies
polka dot phone case
literally any cute hair accessory with dots on it
The best part is that they can either look super classy or super girly depending on how you style them.
Very “European summer Pinterest board” vibes.
🌴 LA Vibes

Specifically the Pinterest version of LA.
I’m talking:
Erewhon smoothie runs
Beverly Hills palm trees
giant sunglasses
pilates sets
iced drinks in glass cups
shopping with nowhere to be
golden hour literally everywhere
Even if you’ve never been to LA, you probably understand the aesthetic.
I think everyone has that one city they romanticise a little too much, and LA is definitely one of mine. It just feels so cinematic.
Will I one day spend an unreasonable amount of money on an Erewhon smoothie just for the experience? Probably.
🤠 Toy Story 5
I am WAY too excited.
The fact that we’re getting another Toy Story movie honestly feels unreal because Toy Story is one of those franchises that is permanently connected to childhood memories.
The excitement is mostly:
nostalgia
comfort characters
Pixar emotions that somehow destroy you every time
the fact that the animation is probably going to look INSANE
Also, Toy Story movies always somehow make you emotional over objects with faces.
I already know I’m going to walk into the cinema acting normal and leave emotionally attached to a random side character.
🌺 Pink Palm Puff Pop-Up in Miami
This one hurts.
The Pink Palm Puff pop-up in Miami looks SO cute and I’m genuinely sad I can’t go.
Everything about it looks like the ultimate dream girl summer setup:
pink everywhere
glossy branding
adorable photo spots
cute clothes
influencer beach energy
matching sets and hoodies
I swear pop-ups lately are less “shopping” and more fully immersive aesthetic experiences.
Even just seeing everyone posting it online makes me want to book a flight immediately.
One day.
Final Thoughts ☁️
May obsessions always feel extra specific for some reason, but honestly that’s what makes them fun.
Right now life is basically:
collecting tiny aesthetic moments
overusing Pinterest
pretending every iced drink is life-changing
and finding joy in random little things
Which honestly feels like the perfect way to enter summer.
